Book interior layout services are based on the number of pages in your book. For layout purposes, a book page is 300 words.

We charge a standard per-page rate to lay out your book in Adobe InDesign. For example, if you have a 50,000-word book manuscript, your layout cost would be 50,000 / 300 = 167 pages. Multiply the number of pages in your book by the per-page rate to determine the approximate price. If you have complex figures or graphics that need to be included, they incur an extra fee

Also note that the number of actual pages in your book, depends on the physical size of the book you choose, and may not match the calcuated number of pages for the estimate

To Do a Word Count on Your Manuscript: In Microsoft Word, choose Tools|Word Count. Or you can view the number of words and lines in a document by clicking File|Properties and clicking the Statistics tab.
